Our Mission

• To teach the application of current technology in the field of skin care with the goal of the aesthetician being able to work with a physician and assist with the most modern equipment and technology to offer quality patient care.
• To provide students with the skills to render professional services in a variety of settings and knowledge to pass the New York State Licensing Examination.
• For graduated students to pass on their knowledge and to educate the consumer for their individual needs or concerns, as well as rising to the challenge for correction of the consumer’s condition.

What We Offer
HVSAASC teaches fundamental aesthetics in our program. The curriculum focuses on supplying an individual with all the knowledge required to enter the Aesthetic Skin Care field as a vocation.  HVSAASC offers 600 hour graduates continued education with our advanced hands on classes such as cosmetic laser hair removal, microdermarasion, chemical peels, and permanant make-up.

Our instructors are professionals and share their experiences from the workplace. We teach a curriculum that is fun, will keep you busy and beyond the scope of a basic aesthetics training program- offering thorough instruction in Manual Lymphatic Drainage to the face and neck,  Oxygen Compressed Gas Facial Treatment, Paraffin Facial, Ayurvedic Facial, Ayurvedic Shirodhara, Spa Body Treatments, Spray Tanning, Mud Body Wrap, Paraffin Body Wrap, Loofa and Salt Scrubs, Canfield Visia Imaging Analysis System, Air Brush Make-up and much more.

Flexible Training Schedules
Day class is full time, Monday – Thursday, 9am-4:30pm. Evening class is part-time, Monday- Wednesday, 5:45pm – 9:45pm. New classes start the first Monday of each month.

Real-work experience
Our training programs are hands-on throughout! Starting the very first week, students have the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a professional aesthetician. Every student begins clinical internship once the student learns the variety of skills, practicing under supervision, in student clinic settings open to the general public.

Built-in job readiness
Learning how to get a job or build your own practice can’t be learned in a single workshop. In almost every class you learn how to get ready for your first position. Your instructors are professionals who enjoy sharing their on-the-job experiences.  All students develop a Business Plan that is an essential to anyone hoping to open their own business.
